Ahhhh, Mr. Stepcoach, Publisher 2002 is now thing of the past. Publisher
2003 is the "latest and greatest". You can buy the upgrade here:

http://www.microsoft.com/PRODUCTS/i...5771d748-0aa7-4955-88e9-7ac0fec940df&type=ovr

It's $169.00 ($99.00 upgrade price when you mail in the $70.00 Rebate).
Requires Windows XP/2000.

Yet another "gotcha!!" from Gatesville.

So, my client has 2002; I have 2000; in order to get his
files and adjust them and return them, I have to go to
2003? Sounds fishy.

No, you can just have him save the file as a Publisher 2000 file (he goes to
File > Save As and change the file type to Publisher 2000). You can then
open, edit, and send back, and they will open them no problem as well.

You *could* get Publisher 2002 (eBay, etc.), but Publisher 2003 is far
better in terms of features.
(Note that 2003 only runs on Windows 2000 SP3, XP and later)

Publisher 2002 and 2003 can open each others' files without having to
convert and with very little if any formatting loss (only unsupported
features do not transfer back to 2002, such as empty picture frames)
