Upgrade Office 2003 to Office SB 2007 w/Professional Trial

I just received my upgrade CD today, and tried to install 2007. I assumed it
would automatically remove/integrate with my 2003 programs, but now I have
both 2003 and 2007 on my computer. I notice I don't have Outlook 2007, and
I'm scared to uninstall Office 2003 b/c I don't want to lost all of my
emails/contacts, etc.

Any advice before I make another move? I didn't know I was getting a Trial
CD with my free upgrade on my new laptop, and need advice on correctly
installing it with an existing 2003 suite. Thanks

Hey:
That is a simple answer to this question. If you go the
http://www.windowsmarketplace.com/content.aspx?ctid=391&WT.mc_id=0107_22
you will find that Office 2007 Professional does not come with Outlook
2007. The only Office 2007 product that comes with Outlook 2007 is
Standard. So, either you keep both of them or you down grade to Office
2007 Standard (or of course uninstall Office 2007). I hope this helps
you.

Hi Dennis/Joshua,

Ummm, not quite correct. All versions of MS Office 2007 *except* MS Office Home and Student Edition include MS Office Outlook 2007.

There are 2 'flavors' of Outlook 2007, 'plain'
Microsoft Office Outlook 2007
or Outlook 2007 with the optional install 'Business Contact Manager'.

hmm... you should have selected the option to coexist while installing.
Now dont worry. You can go ahead and uninstall office 2003. All data will be
safe. Then Go to add / remove programs and click on change for MS Office 2007
pro and then under Add/ remove features you can add outlook 2007. It should
automatically recognise and shouw up your mails and accounts. You should not
have any problems. The same applies to all the office programs.
