upgrade outlook express to outlook?

hi,

my pc came with outlook express, and i've been using it
for some time, but would now like to upgrade to the full
Microsoft Outlook. How do i go about this. I've put the
new prog into my pc, but mail continues to come in
through Outlook Express.

Did you import your account settings, mail and address book into Outlook?
What version of Outlook?

Once everything is in Outlook, you need to set Outlook as default email
program (control panel, internet options, programs) and probably also want
to delete the email account from OE.

Use Outlook to import the account settings and messages from Outlook Express
and then DON'T RUN OUTLOOK EXPRESS. You can't get messages in Outlook
Express if you don't run it.
