Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

I have the H&S 2008 version and have ordered the 2008 Media version. My question is:

1:) Will I be able to use the upgrade with the H&S version?

2:) If not, do I need to downgrade to my Off for Mac 2004?

3:) Do I save my Identity under 2008 H&S and then re-assign it if I need to upgrade from the 2004.

Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated. Thank you.

I have the H&S 2008 version and have ordered the 2008 Media version. My
question is:
The Media version is not an upgrade. It comes with the full version of
Office.
1:) Will I be able to use the upgrade with the H&S version?

No, you need to remove the H&S version using "Remove Office" then install
and upgrade the new full version of Office. It comes with 2 CDs. One for
Office and the other for Expressions.

"Remove Office"

Install Office for Mac 2008 including updates
2:) If not, do I need to downgrade to my Off for Mac 2004? No

3:) Do I save my Identity under 2008 H&S and then re-assign it if I need to
upgrade from the 2004.

Entourage will recognize your Identity, but you will now have the option to
use Exchange services and Automator actions.

As a precaution, it's always best to backup your data. I suggest zipping or
copying to another drive your Main Identity folder.

~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2008 Identities/Main Identity
