Upgrading Question

I have PPT 2002 and Word 2002 on my machine, but no other Office
apps. If I install a version of Office 2003, should I first
uninstall the XP versions of PPT and Word? If I do that, could I
preserve customizations like plug-ins and toolbars?

You can keep your previous versions of PowerPoint and Word. I like to do this
myself to ease the transition. When you run your install, select "Custom" and
be sure to retain previous version. The installer will walk you through this.
Just be sure to read each dialog carefully. Preserving toolbars and add-ins is
a different question. See:

Can I move my custom settings from one computer to another?
