upgrading

J

Jan Pirrong

I purchased a new laptop that has the standard edition of
office 2003 as a trial version for 60 days. My old laptop
has office 2000 professional installed and I have the
cd's.

Can I upgrade to the professional version directly, or do
I first need to install the 2000 version?

Thanks for your help.

Hello Jan,

1) First uninstall office 2003 from the new laptop.
2) Then install office 2000 on the new laptop.
3) Then make sure you uninstall office 2000 from the old laptop. This is
because of the licensing issue.
