uploading problems

I have a number of web sites which are causing me massive
problems.

Every time I try and upload some changes I get locked out
of the remote server. I then have to re-boot my computer
and logged into my service provider to get another IP
number. Ican then log into my sites, but if I try and
upload again, I get locked out.

I have tried this from 4 different computers, on dial up
and broadband using versions 2002 and 98, all with the
same results.

Now the problems seems to be with the firm hosting my
sites, but after a week of trying they seem unable to
resolve the problem.

I als have another site (using F.P) on a defferent server
and have no problems.

Please has anyone any ideas it is driving me round the
bend.

If you are only having the problem with a specific host, then you need to
find another host. However it could also be the host's backbone connection
to the internet that is the problem, if the host is not seeing the problem,
as host tend to test from within their network.
