User Deleted Secured.mdw - now what do I do?

OK - I'm not an access dude anymore... 'beer' with me.

One of my clients thought they were 'doing the right thing' and
cleansed their access program folders. Now, when they attempt to open
their database - they get:
Microsoft Access couldn't find the file ...path...\Secured.mdw. this
file is required for startup.

OK - as you know most users... they don't have a good backup, they
deleted the one I created for them and I am really frustrated with
them.

What get's done - to make this thing work for them again? I do not know the
original workgroup info I set them up with (three+ years ago)...

Ok, so the users ran their only car over a cliff, set it alight, then
dropped a 50 ton weight on it. Now it doesn't work correctly, & they
want you to fix it; for free, presumeably ...

What version of Access?

Is it an MDE, or an MDB?

When you originally created the secured workgroup file, did you use a
blank Workgroup Identifier (WID), or did you leave that blank? If you
left it blank, just create a new workgroup file with the same Company &
Organization names (if you can remember those), then log on as the
Admin user of that new file.

I don't remember if I used the default company, organization name and blank
pid. That was over three years ago.... I've believe they've copied the
folder(s) to a new installation - so everything would be different.

Access 2002/SP3

With clients like these - I might be the next one over the cliff, and
they'll follow me with the 50 ton weight.

I tried the suggestion - it didn't have any affect. I get a login (admin) -
but I don't have permission to the table.
