User getting prompted to enter credentials at every step in PWA

Hi.We have a user who is getting prompted to enter his user credentials
(network id & password) everytime he tries to access project center or any
other functionality/view in Project Web Access(PWA) on his machine(he has
admin rights). This is a recent development as he could earlier access
everything seamlessly. However,he does not get the credentials prompt when
accessing PWA through another client/machine.He has cleared the cache on his
client machine as well as the IE cache but continues to get the same prompt.
He also confirmed that he has not made any known changes/upgrades on his
client recently. Can anyone please give any ideas as to what can be the
problem here?Is this a browser issue?

In addition to this,it is also causing Project Pro 2007 to crash each time
he tries to open a project, global templates etc. & the application just shuts
down.Appreciate any thoughts.Thanks!

Hints in no specific order...

- To verify that the user has logged on to domain (assuming AD
domain/NTLM/Kerberos scenario in place), try runing the script from this
page...
http://www.itworld.com/nls_windows_tullochcached060626
there is many ways to do this, this page has nice info about it..

- verify the last logon date top domain vs actual. You may also want to
compare it agains the AD user object property etc. check that the Ad account
does not have expiry date etc or something on those lines..

- Make sure there is no 'add-ons' or identity managers on IE side loaded
that prepopulate authentication request with old passwords etc.

- IF the user can logon from another machine it could be that the machine is
at fault. check if it has been de-registred from the domain (could have
cached credentials still on but can't renew token)..

- Force refresh group policy then reboot the workstation.. (NTLM priority
could be controled by GP, and GP cache could be corrupt).

It could be none of the above just as well. your best way forward really is
to look in to local machine/Project Server event logs :)
