user intervention

We just connected the printer to a system on the network
that has Win XP on but when we try to print in Publisher
in Windows 98 it comes up with User intervention straight
away.All other applications have no trouble printing to
this networked printer. Please help

Shane there are no known printing issues on any versions of Publisher.

This issue will be either the printer driver on your local system, or the
network is incorrectly setup.

Publisher is heavy duty on printer drivers like all other DTP or CAD
programs, and because other applications print without any issues, does not
indicate Publisher is the problem.

Check the website of your printer manufacturer to see if there is an updated
printer driver.

Does this happen if the user is set to administrative privelages?
