Hello, I set-up user level security on a database. This database has a
command button which I want to open another secured database. I thought I
could just copy the path from the shortcut which opens my first secured
database into the command button properties hyperlink address area so when
the command button is clicked it would work like the shortcut. This did not
work. How do I get a command button to open a secured database? Also
different users of the database have different versions of Office such as
"Office10" and "Office11". With the shortcut on each desktop I can modify
the path for each Office version but the same command button is used by all
users meaning the hyperlink address would always be the same version of
Office?? Any suggestions, thanks.
