Is there a way ofshowing a userform and still being able
to work on a document, simular to the way the
find/replace user form acts.

I what to display some instructions that the user can see
all the time whilst working on the document.

If it can be done how?

Thanks in anticipitation.

Thanks for your input i think i have worked out 97 wont
allow but in later versions you by setting the show modal
property of the userform.

If you know of a way to do this in 97 i would very much
like to know.

Here is a thread that offers a technique for this and that discusses the
pros and cons of said technique:

As an alternative, you may want to use the Office Assistant if all you want
to do is display text while the user works on the document.
See this thread for some information and code:

Good luck!
