users cant reply to email messages

Hi All

I have been trying to figure out this problem for a while. In our remote office we have 6 users. Most users are OK with regard to email. We had one new user who came. He logged into his new computer and he can receive email in his outlook but he cant reply to email messages. When he tries to reply, the email sits there for about 30 seconds and then an error message appears saying that "network problems are preventing connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server". Sending email directly is OK (eg. creating a new email message). I thought his profile was corrupt so I deleted it, I also reinstalled Office (used the Microsoft registry cleaner tool as well), I have updated with all the patches, checked all the networking settings. The only cause I can think of is that before, we had a network share for Office but since the WAN connection was too slow, I moved the Office files to the local server (the first time someone runs Outlook, the computer looks for the DATA1.msi file). Does anyone know why one user has this problem but not others

Thanks!
