Using a photo to format WordArt in Word 2002

I used a photo to format the text in WordArt, but I can see the edge of the
photo in the first letter of the text. Is there any way to adjust the photo
so that it extends to the full length of the text?

The workaround is to adjust the size of the photo to be the same size as the WordArt.

Well not a workaround in the usual sense. When an image is used as a fill in WordArt,
the image wants to fill the whole space, the image will distort or stretch. To
prevent the distortion, try to match the size of the photo/clipart with the size of
the WordArt.
