Using a picture from a template

Anne

Hi,

I have a slide with a picture I would need to modify a bit and use for
something else. But... the picture seems to be part of the template, and I
cannot copy it. Your help greatly appreciated!

The picture might be on the master: Go to view (tab view for PPT2007) choose
Master - Slide Master (Slide Master in the group Presentation Views for
PPT2007).

Unfortunately does not work. The picture is on the master, but I can click
and choose it.

Sounds like the picture has been applied to the background instead if
inserted on the slide. If that is the case you will need to ask the author
of the presentation for a copy of the image.

Anne,

Here is your solution

1. Make a copy of the presentation
2. Delete all content, so you just see the images (one page)
3. "Save As" HTML

this will drop the image into a folder on your hard drive.

There may or may not be some loss of quality.
