Using a scanned Photo as a background in Microsoft word

[Frankly speaking]

I am trying to use a scanned photo as a background or watermark for my
wedding programs. I've tried the help in Word but don't get the result I
want. If I set the photo as a background, it is too dark and the type can't
been seen... HELP.

What you want is a watermark. If you have Word 2002 or 2003, use Format |
Background | Printed Watermark, then select your picture. For previous
versions, see “HOW TO: Create a Watermark in Microsoft Word 2000†at
