Using both Windows Live Mail and Outlook 2007

Does anyone do this? If so, can you use Outlook for everything BUT email
with Outlook Connector?

Before I even try, I just wanted to see whether someone has tried this.

I have used Outlook 2007 & Windows Live Mail on the same Windows 7 computer
w/out issue. However I didn't test in regards to Hotmail as I use Gmail.

Can you set up Outlook Connector to only get Calendars and Contacts from
Live? I don't want to get mail in Outlook.

windows Mail..so how do I create a defult return address for all my outgoing

I tried finding an answer for this the last 1/2 hour and couldn't find a way
of accomplishing it. Best guess is that if you try to opt out of the "key"
folders the connector supports (e.g. Inbox), it will just re-enable it.

Does it work like WLM and sync Calendars and Contacts properly?

What's the point of setting up the connector is you're not going to have an
account defined?

I see the same data in Outlook as I see in WLM.
