Using "MS Office Spreadsheet Control" from VBA

I want to use a spreadsheet control directly on a PPT
slide, but can't figure out how to edit/retrieve cell
contents from VBA. Can anyone point the right direction
to take?

You can directly refer to spreadsheet object on the slide with something
like:

Slide1.Spreadsheet1.Cells(1, 1)

This would get you the value B1 (row = 1, column = 2).
