I have several email accounts set up in Outlook 2000 so
that I can retrieve email on behalf of clients, and for a
series of addresses I have set up relating to different
business needs.
Periodically Outlook decides it's going to send out email
from one of the accounts instead of my regular profile and
therefore it aborts with a message saying 'No transport
provider was available for delivery to this recipient.'
This is very frustrating and there doesn't seem to be any
way to set a 'default' for sending out my email. I cannot
see any regular pattern for this happening. If I want the
email to go out by a different address I should have to
use the Options and Reply To sections - not Outlook just
choose to send from a different address.
Does anyone know why this happens or how to stop it?
