Using Windows XP disk to reinstall MS Office components

G

Guest

How do I do this? I can get the files directly off the
disk, but I don't know where to find them. MS Office was
installed, but I think a virus corrupted them so now I
can't use them (I want Word and Excel more than the
others).

Thanks in advance.

If I understand you correctly, you are going to have a great deal of trouble
trying to install Microsoft Office files from the Windows XP installation
disk, since Microsoft does not distribute Office via the Windows XP
installation disk.
To install Microsoft Office files, you must use the Microsoft Office
installation disk.
