Using Word 2007 "Save As" box does not appear when I try to "Save.

I'm using MSO 2007. Suddenly, for no reason I can think of, when I try to use
the Save As option in Word the Save AS Dialog box does not appear and the
computer makes a "Choong" sound as if I've done something wrong! I use this
option ALL the time. I hate being scolded by my computer and made to look
stupid for no apparent reason!!
