v4.3 installation

I run office xp pro on xp he o/s. In order to be able to
work from home I have had to install office v4.3 on my pc.
Both versions work fine, but, v4.3 loads a tollbar on the
desktop when I boot my PC. How do I stop v4.3 from running
on boot-up, and how do I stop it loading the toolbar when
I do actually utilize this programme.
