variance in cost and duration b/w local and live project plan

I make a project plan in project professional 2007 locally . and make generic
resources with standard rates and assign these generic resources to tasks of
project plan . all is good as per my requirement .

But when I import that project and map that resources with live generic
enterprise resources . after save and publish . the cost and duration is so
different than orignal local project plan.

pls tell me the solution.
and reply me soon.

It sounds like your local resources are using a different calendar than your
enterprise resources. For example if the local resources are set to an 8
hours per day calendar and the enterprise resources to a 7.5h/day, when you
replace the local resources with enterprise resources, the tasks' durations
change to accommodate for the changed capacity.
