HI there!
For controlling the effort I use the following view.
Here I can see all work-information in one view like work, planned work,
actual work, remaining work and variance work.
Taskname Work Planned Actual ETC variance
Concept 6,13 d 6 d 5,69 d 0 d 0,13 d
Reinhard 2,94 d 2,94 d 2,94 d 0 d 0 d
Andreas 0,44 d 0,44 d 0 d 0 d 0 d
Jens 2,75 d 2,63 d 2,75 d 0 d 0,13 d
For me it's a bit confusing. As you can see my actual work for the tasks is
5,69 compared to the planned work 6. My idea of variance work is, that I have
no variance for the task. But as you can see I have variance for one
ressource and therefore a variance for the task. Is that right or did I get
something wrong. I'm working in a project office an my projekt manager does
not like that. He says - hey I have no variance, why do I see one.
Do I need another column to show what I want to see?
Best regards
Michael
