VB Code not getting populated into Mail Merge Document

I have a bit of a funny problem which i hope you can help me with.

I have a document which requires to be auto emailed after it has been mail
merged. Simple but it is merged on a dedicated server and then is able to be
opened on any machine.

My Problem is that the VB Code that i place in theDocument Close Event on
the Template does not appear on the merged document.

Is there any way to force the VB to appear on the newly created Merged
Document.

Cheers for that I shall Look at it properly in the morning. It might just do
what i want.
