Vectorizing Fonts

Does publisher have a way to vectorize fonts? Im trying to PDF my document
and the font used is protected. When I get this problem with InDesign or
Illustrator, I generally would vectorize the fonts.

You can save the publication as a picture, or just a portion of the publication,
a text box for instance. You then insert the text into Publisher as a picture.
This is about as close as you can get to converting to curves.

I must be missing it but how do you save it as a graphic? Preferably a high
quality TIF

What version Publisher? Right-click the text box, save as picture, select .tif,
there are resolution options. This is only valid for Publisher 2003, you can
save as an image in 2002 but you don't have resolution options.
