Version incompatability

I have just bought a new computer & when I went to install MS publisher (2003
version) I found the disc is corrupted. I had a 1995 version on disc which I
install but now none of my saved publisher files will open. Is there any way
around this without having to buy a new copy of MS Publisher?

Might be worth a try to clean the 2003 disk with
warm water and mild soap. Dry with a soft cloth
wiping from center to edge not in circles.

If you have a retail copy of Publisher 2003 on disk,
you may be able to obtain a replacement from
Microsoft.

I just read a helpful hint if it's scratched that might work. Toothpaste.
Not the gel kind tho. The gritty paste stuff, like the original kind of
Crest. You need to buff it in and wipe it off completely but I've heard it
can work.
