versions incompatibility?

I had "Office Professional Visio 2003 SP1" on my machine and prepared a
large database model. When I tried to create the database from the model I
realized that version cannot really do it. Help file says "You need
Enterprize Architect version, that comes with VS.NET 2003". OK. I installed
that. But Visio Enterprize Architect 2003 cannot even open my file created
in "Office Professional Visio 2003 SP1", let alone forward engineer it.

What's wrong with the versioning?
Are there any updates available for Visio Enterprize Architect 2003
(10.0.2705) to open the files created with Office Professional Visio 2003
SP1 (11.4301.6360)?

you should be able to save as v2002 and the v2003ea should be able to read
it and forward engineer it. The next version of visio ea is in the vs2005
beta and is a real 2003 (of course named 2005).

Hmmm. There is no Visio in beta2, however I can see "Visio Tools" in beta1.
I'll try to install it...

I think if you check the disk image you will find a visio directory, I
believe that is where I loaded mine from.
