Vertical flow chart in Microsoft office Project

I want to create vertical flow chart of my process by using Microsoft
Project. The flow chart should be somewhat similar to the diagrams created
by using Microsoft Office Visio.
Is there a way to create vertical flow diagrams using Microsoft Office
Project.
Please help.

In Project all the Gantt bars go from left to right, but you might want to
look at the Network diagram as it lets you position things however you
desire - choose it from the View menu.

I tried it in network diagram view. However, the network diagram is not
getting rearranged vertically.
Please help if it is possible in Microsoft Project.
Also indicate if there is any other software available which can help me
generate a vertical flow chart as well as identify the critical path and
parrallel activities.

From the "Format" Menu, select "Layout" and select "manual positioning"
Then you can drag them around.
