Video file playback

I have a customer who, when playing a black and white avi file, the file goes
white and nothing happens. Color avi files of similar size play fine. I have
a work around of copying the avi file to the same folder as the presentation,
which works, but he has many presentations that point to this avi file and
would be an extreme inconvenience to do for all of them. I have tried it with
WMP 7 and 9, then with QuickTime and all fail so far. Assistance would be
appreciated.

The path to the file is probably too long. Have him put it in C:\AVI (just as
an example) and then he can link to it from all presentations. Of course, this
assumes the presentation and video are not being distributed to other systems.
