video playing

[need video to play when I go to slide]

I am having a problem with my mpeg file, the file is not embedded, the
problem is that it plays when the slide is displayed for the first time, but
if i go to that particular slide again, it does not play again without
clicking on it, I need it to atomatically play every time I go to that slide
in a presentation, please help!!

You'll need to return to the slide *before* the slide with the video. When
PPT returns to a slide, it returns to the *end state* of the slide.

You can put a dummy slide in to return to. Make it look like the slide with
the video by using a screenshot or taking an image of the first frame of the
video. Then give that dummy slide a 00-second automatic transition so that
when you come to it, it automatically moves over to the "real" slide.
