view ppt slides from email

I have an unusual problem that when i try to view a ppt
slide from my email as an attachment and i select open
file, i get an error message telling me that it cannot
open the file, but if i save the file to my hard drive
powerpoint has no problem opening the file. what's up?

Where is your mailbox file? By any chance is it on a networked drive?
