Hi,

is there a view available to view publisher files without having to
install the full product.

I have been sent one file that I would like to view.

Thanks

No viewer available for Publisher. Have your sender convert it to a PDF. If this
is not possible, send it to me and I will convert it for you.

Thanks,

I asked her to send me a pdf version and was informed that a program
called xnview can read them.

Thanks for the info and the offer.

I visited their site and Microsoft Publisher is *not* on their list. If it
can view them, even they don't promote it.

XNView certainly cannot open Microsoft Publisher files, maybe you have a Ventura
document or some other application that uses a .pub extension. Publisher 3.0 was
commonly known as Publisher 95. My XNView could not open a file of this version.

What is the extension on the file you opened with XNView?

Microsoft Publisher files have an extension of .pub

Doesn't Pub save as an .mht as well?
