Viewing options in a font - "Symbol"

I scanned a letter with a letter head. I want to see all symbols in order to select one to include in the letter. I am making changes in the style of the letterhead and want to inser
a symbol to use as a decoration in the formating of the letterhead.

Unless you somehow converted your scanned letterhead to text, it won't have
any symbols because the letterhead as a whole will be a single graphic.

Try the menu command Insert > Symbol.
