Visio 2003 cross-functional flow chart question

Marcin W.

Hello,

I have a qestion concerning cross functional flowchart in Visio 2003 Standard.

I have created a cross functional flow chart and added a few
bands to it. I've changed positions of bands, moved them
exchanged with another - everything is allright.

Then I copied and pasted it to another document
created in Visio. I've also tried to move and exchange
positions of some bands but behavior is different -
some bands cover another, remain an empty space
and leave some borders.

Could somebody explain me what to do to avoid
such a behavior in the pasted flowchart ?

Maybe there is an update ? Isn't it the application bug ?

Best Regards,
Marcin

You can't just copy and paste the bands and the frame, you also have
to copy the page properties.
Use the shapesheet to look at the page propeties of the original
document. Basically,Visio doesn't know that it's a x-functional
flowchart.

If you can then copy the other bits of Visio document into the x-func
flowchart, it may depend on what that other document is, it could be
that both depend upon an add-on.
