The new version of Visual Studio is not going to include a Visio modeling
version like the VEA product that was bundled with prior releases of VS
since VS.Net was released. Since the install of the VEA products has
always been tied to the version of Visual Studio present on the system, I
believe that you will be blocked from installing an older version of VEA
onto a new install of Visual Studio 2008.
If you have an installation of Visual Studio 2005 and VEA currently in
place, however, I don't expect that the VEA application would be removed.
It should continue to function in place, even if the new VS IDE is not
compatible with it, which would cause UML issues, for instance.
