I went to the webpage you directed me to; however, I could not understand how to complete the actions requested. How do I get to the global template and then change it. Should I go through the word program? I tried teh document search program, but could not find the files that the webpage directed me to

ON another webpage, it said something about DataViz. I had documents to go on my old computer, but it did not transfer to my new computer. Is there a way to get rid of any program request associated with it.

Hi Kim

I found the same page you did, and it looks right. (I don't have
DataViz to check it, though.) The advice given there is to remove the
DVZWAddin.dot template.

Start Windows Explorer and click the Search button. Search for the
file DVZWAddin.dot. It will probably be in a folder named something
like

C:\Documents and Settings\Kim\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

When you find it, delete it or move it to some other folder. Then
start Word to check that the message is gone.
