WBS; Task Description Sheets

I like to have detailed task descriptions for each WBS item that I give to my
team to fully describe the deliverable, prerequisites, expected deliverable,
required resources, acceptance criteria etc. I usually create these in Word
but its a real pain if I adjust the MS Project file that renumbers the WBS.
Is there a tool anywhere that can link into project - 2003 or 2007 - that
then has the ability to create "intergrated" task description sheets that are
dynamically linked to the project schedule??

The WBS Dictionary (or Task Sheets) can be linked to a task via a hyperlink.
So, a separate WBS Dictionary in the form a of Word Document could contain
any desired information such as entrance/exit criteria, specifications,
expected deliverables, budgets, assigned team information. Of course, you
would not want to duplicate anything that could be put in Project since that
would create data redundancy.

The Hyperlink field in Project can be used, or even the task name itself.
We use the Integrated Master Plan (IMP number assigned. The Hyperlink feature
is pretty robust -- you can even specify a bookmark in the target file.
