Web Access - Editing Enterprise Custom Fields

Hi
Microsoft Project Web Access / Project Center offers a facility to
edit enterprise custom fields. I can only get it to work with outline
codes. How do make it work with text, dates, or numbers?

I had already done as I understand you suggested. This appears to work
for date, outline code and number fields but not text, duration or
cost.
Can you (or anyone else) do this with text, duration or cost? If so,
how?

Some enterprise custom fields are not editable in PWA, for example fields
which have a pick list associated with them, or fields defined by formulae.
