Web Search

HELP!

I've just posted a new web site, www.JoyPlumbing.com, and I get "no
information available about URL www.Joyplumbing.com" when I enter the URL in
Google. The web site has been out there for about a month. I've done
everything I can think of, but the site still does not exist - I can go
there, but the search engines don't see it. Is my problem with MS bCentral
(my host) or could I have done something wrong with the site? I have
another site posted (www.reconcileband.com) and the site is easily found
when i enter the url. So, does anyone have any ideas here?

Thanks in Advance
Ken

Did you submit the site to Google?

It also can take several weeks, even months, to get crawled by the search
engine spiders before you show up.

Why would you want to submit your site when you still have under
construction on your page(s)?

And, using frames will cause lots of problems with the search engines.

Thanks for the help, Tom. The site was published and submitted to Google
for advertisment only as the person i'm building the site for is using the
URL in all of his paper publications. As far as the frames, i understand it
causes problems. This is the reason why i left the Index page without
frames. Will that still cause complications?

Yes, because the search engines will index the page and they will be loaded outside of the frameset,
so unless you have navigation on each page, the user will not be able to navigation to other pages
within the site if they come into the site via search engine link. Also frames do not allow people
to add specific pages to their favorites, etc.
