I think you will have to explain to us what you mean by "weight factor".
I searched this entire newsgroup, which goes way back, and found only 2
unrelated references, besides yours, to this phrase.
As releated to %Complete and %Work Complete:
%Complete will weight each task by its duration.
%Work Complete will weight each task by the work hours assigned to each task
You may establish your own weightnig using custom numbers and calculations.
