Weird problem when sending email. Please help!

This problem has just started out of the blue.
When I click the SEND button on a new message I get a
mssage box headed "Microsoft Picture It 2002". The
content says to insert the CD etc . When i hit cancel, I
get another error message saying Windows Installer cannot
continue. Clicking cancel agin leads to these two screens
reappearing 3 times! Then I get the "Spellcheck on this
message was halted, Do you want to send anyway?"message,
even tho I have not done anything to Spellcheck. When i
click yes, my message is finally sent.

I do have Picture It 2002 already loaded on my computer
but haven't used it for a while and cannot understand how
it has got tangled up with my email program. Cna anyone
offer a solution to this problem please? I am a home
user but fairly competent using the computer. Thanks,

I'd start by NOT canceling when asked to insert the CD. Do as your prompted
once and perhaps the problem will disappear. Failing that, try uninstalling
Picture It, sending a test message, and then reinstalling Picture It if all
goes well.

Thank you for your advice. I inserted the disc as
requested and the problem seems to have fixed itself. I
had tried to delete the original Picture It prog but got
a "registry error" half way through, so there must have
been a glitch in the program! My grateful thanks again,
