When I use Outlook webmail, attachments come at the top of the message as
hyperlinks. If I click on them, I get an error message that I must first
save them before I view. If I right-click and open in a new window, they
open without saving. However, they don't launch the application, but rather
use an Internet Explorer window.
I know there is a way to get attachments to either launch the correct
application or just open in there if the application is already running. My
old computer was set up that way, but I just switched jobs and can't remember
what I did. I think it is either an option in Internet Explorer or in
Windows Explorer where you specify file types open with ...
Can anyone help me out?
