Wgsetup.exe Projects 2003 - Dupliacted task appearing on task list

Hi all, does anyone have any experience of the wgsetup.exe workgroup handler
in projects 2003?

I have managed to get the application to collaborate projects within the
company, and all resources are being notified of changes to their schedlued
tasks perfectly. The problem is, when a schedule change occurs, and for
example a resources duartion doubles on a task, they are sent another task
via the workgroup handler, instead of editing/deleting the old one.

Threfor this has resulted in resources having upto 5 to-do's scheduled in
their tasks box, and they dont know which one is correct.

Any advice greatfull apreciated, have been pulling my hair out on this for
days now!!
