What can I do to avoid having OE 6 block file attachments?

losing attachment content

What can I do to avoid having OE 6 block file attachments .doc, .eml?

Tools-->Options-->Security

Uncheck 'do not allow attachments to be saved....'

Do make sure, though, that any attachments are definitely expected and from
known sources.
