What file needed to make Office 97 upgrade work from 4.2 version?

I have Microsoft office 4.2 version on floppy and Microsoft 97 upgrade on CD.
There is only one file off the 27 disk that I need to make 97 upgrade work.
How do I get this one file without loading all 27 disk then upgrading?

I have a similar problem in that with a new computer I am trying to use my
Office 2000 upgrade CD. I have the original 25 discs of Office version 4.2
but disk 1 seems to be corrupted. I cannot therefore get the Office 2000
upgrade to work

Is there any solution to this,
