Does anyone know if this feature exists in Entourage 2008? In 2004 there was a toolbar at the top of a new e-mail message that allowed you to send a copy of the message to a particular folder when you sent it.

Help!

I know, it's another great feature gone missing from this "improved"
version. Really disappointing.

It's still in the program, but not in the toolbar. Apparently, it was deemed
not important enough or too infrequently used. You must got to the Message
menu and select it there. If you use it a lot, you may be able to give it a
keyboard shortcut using the System Preferences>Keyboard panel. An even
easier method is to set up Outgoing mail rules that select mail based on
address, subject, or category, and move the message after it is sent. If you
categorize your contacts (everyone in your organization goes in category
"work" and gets moved to the "work" folder, except your boss whose mail,
based on his email address goes to a special folder), it's easy to sort the
outgoing mail automatically.

I never used it but in 2008 there is now outgoing rules so you could
set up a rule to do this... across the board or by address or
whatever.

You can customize each window in Entourage 2008, but they left out that
icon. It's under Message --> After Sending, move to.....

I believe Microsoft is aware of this oversight.

Thanks to all. This feature should definitely be in the toolbar - I use it for almost all messages!
