what is correct date for powrprof.dll and what dir should it be in

While downing media player, I got error that powrprof.dll was missing. I
have 4 copies of this file 2 different date in 4 directories. How do I get
the correct copy and in what directory should it be.

I don't see that this is an Office problem but go here and see what
version you should have in your System folder:
(Date is not always relevant)

You may do better to ask in a newsgroup for your operating system if
you need more information.
