What is CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER ?

I've been seeing this in many responses... can you explain what it does
and how to do it ? I just tried it and nothing happened !

with CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER (instead of only using ENTER) you're creating a
matrix formula. Try searching the Excel helpfile for 'array formula' to
get some information about this

It enters the formula as an array formula. See help for 'array
