What is the coding to have the date/time inputted in a form

I am using Microsoft Access 2003 on WinXP. I have created a form called log
form and have a call date field and a call time field. I was hoping when I
click on the new call button and brought up the next record it would
automatically put today's date and time in. Can this be done and how please.

Tina,
Are your date and time fields in the table and/or query that your form is
bound to? If so, you may want to consider using just one field, since there
is a time component to all date type fields in Access. Just format it to
display both the date and the time. Also, if it is in the table you can set
the Default value to Now() .
